HomeViews Platform is renowned for its role as a prominent property information platform, offering a unique community-driven approach through verified resident reviews of various property developments, with a specific emphasis on the burgeoning build-to-rent (BTR) market.

At the heart of HomeViews’ offerings is its data platform, HomeViews Pro, tailored to assist operators in the BTR industry. This tool enables industry professionals to gain profound insights into residents’ experiences and identifies broader trends impacting the sector. Following the acquisition, HomeViews CEO Rory Cramer is set to continue leading the team, ensuring continuity and expertise in the platform’s operations.

This strategic acquisition aligns with Rightmove’s proactive approach to consolidating its position in key markets by swiftly incorporating companies that present competition. Johan Svanstrom, CEO of Rightmove, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “The HomeViews team has built an impressive platform that gives consumers additional useful information to make decisions. It also provides valuable feedback for industry operators, especially in the build-to-rent sector, which is an exciting and fast-growing segment of the UK property market.”

Svanstrom highlighted the potential for enriching Rightmove’s property information set for consumers and creating innovative relationship tools for build-to-rent operator partners. He welcomed HomeViews CEO Rory Cramer and the entire team, emphasizing their expertise in enhancing the overall property market experience.

Rory Cramer, CEO of HomeViews, echoed the sentiment, stating that joining Rightmove presented “a brilliant opportunity to expand our services for our partners and other stakeholders.” He praised Rightmove’s brand leadership, ongoing digital and product innovation, as well as its extensive reach across the UK property market, expressing confidence in the synergy of the two entities.

As Rightmove solidifies its position as a market leader, the acquisition of HomeViews Platform not only signifies a strategic business move but also holds the promise of offering enhanced services and insights to both consumers and industry professionals in the rapidly evolving build-to-rent landscape.
