Our Process

1. Performing A Valuation

Every client engagement we begin, starts with a business valuation so we have a good understanding of the businesses position within the market, this is when the relationship changes depending on a business owner’s timeframe and we will either go to market or start the secondary step.

2. Developing An Exit Strategy

We support the business in developing an exit plan which matches their desired timeframe, this will commonly be between 6-36 months and consist of an analysis of the businesses overall position with a focus on SWOT analysis and what needs to be imputed to increase the businesses valuation.

3. Execution Of Strategy

We partner with the business owner and management team to implement an exit strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals. Our approach involves an assessment of the current business operations, financial health, and market positioning to identify opportunities for value enhancement. By implementing various initiatives and operational improvements, we aim to maximise its valuation and ensure an efficient transaction.

4. Supporting A Client Post-Acquisition

Once we have facilitated the planning phase, we have the ability to process and structure exits in-house via our sell side M&A team who lead all transactions.

Performing a Valuation

Conducting a business valuation is the initial step in our client engagements, providing a foundational framework for all subsequent activities. The metrics we use for valuation vary depending on the specific type of transaction. For instance, when facilitating a private capital introduction or a minority share sale, we can often achieve a higher valuation. This is primarily because such transactions typically involve minimal changes to the management team, thus presenting less risk to potential investors.
